This is basically a silhouette view superimposed with patterns. Eventually, it made its way from an iPad drawing to an enamel on paper painting. I think that I will add more patterns to the patterns and see what happens. So this is version #2 digitally speaking. There might be a version #2 that is handmade.

A view of our "C" building on the east side of campus. I took a photo of the trees and then extended the branches to form a pattern that I found appealing. Looking again at this, the tree seems to reference a peacock's tail.

Tokyo, A Certain Style by Kyochi Tsuzuki. Bringing back fond memories of my trip to Tokyo, Kyoto, and more way back in 2010. The places I stayed at were austere and uncluttered unlike the depictions in the book. So glad because I dislike clutter.

The World Book Encyclopedia by Field Enterprises Educational Corp. I still have these! So glad that I didn't pitch them during past spring cleanings because of their nostalgic value and dated content and graphics.
